Two Rivers Wildlife Park presents: The Senses and Living Things You can learn about the world of living things by using your senses. How does my fur feel? If you felt this donkey’s fur how do you think it would feel? What do Fish Feel like? Don’t Pat the Porcupine! Why do you think porcupines feel so prickly? Do the quills keep the porcupine safe? Silly Goose Sounds! Listen to the sounds that geese make Busy Beaver Sounds! Listen to the sounds a beaver makes. Whooooo’s There? Listen to the sounds an owl makes Hear the Howl! Listen to the sounds coyotes make. Eagle Eyes! An eagle has very good eyesight for seeing fish in the water. Pretty as a Peacock! Sometimes animals are colourful for a reason. This peacock has bright feathers to attract a female peacock. Changing Colour! Some animals change colour so they won’t be seen. Otters in the Water! Otters have eyes high on their head to see while swimming just below the water surface. A Bear’s Nose Knows! Bears have a strong sense of smell and use it to learn about the world around them. Smelly Skunks! Skunks will spray a smelly substance to protect themselves. Use Your Senses at Two Rivers!
