Keep money in the cash register to a minimum. Keep the store clean and well lit. In Case of Robbery Listen carefully and obey the robber. DON’T BE A HERO! Don’t fight. Don’t use a weapon. Give them what they want. Be observant but don’t stare. Call the police as soon as they have left. Bomb Threats Follow procedures established by your place of work. Notify authorities. Maintain order and calm. Evacuate if necessary. Shoplifting Follow your workplace procedures. Do not become physically involved with the shoplifter. Don’t be a HERO!
