術業專攻 Part Two Technology vs. Humanity 系所介紹 ~ 科技與人文、專業與博雅 工學院： 1.工程科技研究所（碩、博）： (1)以產業需求為導向，培育理與實務兼俱之科技人才。 (2)專業研究領域包括電腦與通訊、機械與自動化、營建、環境與安全、系統資訊與控制、光電及工程管理。 College of Engineering 1.Graduate Institute of Engineering Science and Technology a. Cultivate high-tech engineers for industry. b. Promote integrated research projects. c. Commercialize research results through strategic alliance with industry. 2.系統資訊與控制研究所（碩）： (1)著重系統智慧化技術及機電控制技術之研發、整合與應用，以符 合產業需求。 (2)教學及研究方向以資訊擷取、資訊智慧、影像資訊系統、信號處 理、仿生技術、機器人學、智慧最佳化設計、控制晶片設計與實 現、自動控制理論與實務等為主。 2.Graduate Institute of System Information and Control a. Develop, integrate, and apply system automation and electromechanical control technologies. b. Emphasize practical knowledge and skills in informatics, control systems and bionics. 3.營建工程系: (1)以永續營建為主軸，強化防災、生態工程、綠建築，管理科技以及資訊整合等技術研發並培育理論與實務兼備之營建專業人才。 (2)課程規劃融合結構、大地、建築技術、營建管理等領域之專業知識，並開設實務專題課程，強調理論與實務兼具。本系擁有國內少數先進之震害防制實驗室，提供師生最佳之學習環境。 3.Department of Construction Engineering a. Integrate the disciplines of civil engineering and construction engineering. b. Implement construction management concepts. c. Use practical teaching methods. 4.環系： (2)課程內容規劃污染控制、安全工程、工業衛生、生物技術、檢驗分 析等五大方向，並經由環境保護、製程減廢、安全設計及衛生管理 等根本方法，解決產業界之環安問題。 4.Department of Safety, Health and Environmental Engineering a. Integrate environmental, safety, and hygiene engineering. b. Develop problem-solving abilities for environmental and safety problems. c. Balanced development of professional and general skills. 5.機械與自動化工程系：機械與自動化工程系：1)配合國家發展重點計畫及因應地域性重要產業需求，發展文化創意產業經濟，以增厚產品價值，強化應用研發能力，將美學、人文與藝術經由設計成為一項產業。 (2)核心課程之設計以融合科技、人文與管理三合一的理念為鵠的，其最終目標在培育具有產品計畫、開發與設計整合能力，且能注重實作及創造力，又能洞悉社會與時代要求之高級專業人才。 5. Department of Mechanical and Automation Engineering a. Emphasize both machinery design and manufacturing. b. Integrate the information and automation technologies. c.
