Internet Finance received widespread attention in academic circles because of its rapid development in domestic and foreign and its tremendous impact on the traditional ?nance industry. This article wants to gave a review on the existing literature research of the Internet Finance. Firstly, this paper makes a discussion on the connotation of the Internet Finance, and gives an analysis of its ?ve features which including the information and virtualization, the ef?cient and economic, the integration of the ?nancial services, the direct and inclusive, and the risk. Secondly, we focus on Internet Finance’s four kinds of models which are the ?nancial payment settlement, the network ?nancing, the network currency, and the network investment. Thirdly, the article explores the challenge to the traditional finance by the Internet Finance, summarizes the risk characteristics of the Internet Finance and gives the suggestions.
