Teaching aids: a computer, etc. Teaching procedure: A．Preparation 1．Revision Show some pictures or music of some singers that the students have learnt before. Ask students to name them one by one. ( such as John Denver, Michel Jackson etc. ) ( in computer) 2．Presentation We have learnt so many foreign singers , most of whom are very rich. If you have a lot of money, what will you do? (Students may give different answers) Today we are going to meet another pop star whose name is Bob Geldof. He has many pop star friends. He is ringing some of them. What does he want to do ? B．The body of the lesson 1．Listening (in Ss AB Ex. Ⅰ) 1) Ask students to listen to the first dialogue carefully and try to fill in the form.
