The TerminalGeneral introduction It is a story about a man named Victor Navorski from Krakozhia, who wanted to fulfill his father’s last wish about getting all signatures of Jazz band. Not knowing what would happen next, he happily took an airplane to New York on his own, looking forward to getting the last signature. However, when he reached the Kennedy Airport, something came in the way. The first part---- Misfortune may be an actual blessing The main character Viktor Navorski came to the JFK International Airport in American with his father’s dream, but unfortunately, when he was on board ,his country was taken over in a coup（政变） .therefore he became a person of nowhere, and he could neither enter into the American Border, nor return to his country. Considering of his unacceptable visa, the director of Customs and Border Protection at JFK, Frank Dixon, he allowed Viktor to stay in the Kennedy International Airport until the US recognized Viktor’s country’s new diplomatic(外交) reclassification. He was shacked and really upset by hearing the news.The second part ----Life is waiting As Viktor could not go anywhere, he adapted everything that happened to him soon after that .and he became the unique one who live in the airport .He did all kind of things with an optimistic attitude at a special time and circumstance. He take apart the chair to make a sleeping place for himself .he use the water in the washroom to clean himself . More than that , he tried very hard to find a job to get some money although the director of Customs and Border Protection at JFK , Frank Dixon, always stand on the other side of him .Once he found a way to get some coins by putting the luggage barrows（行李车） to the first place ,but it didn’t last long after Dixon knew it .Another example is that he waited at the public telephone in the airport the entire day continuously to get the answer about the job , and he failed either ..
