Several variants are analyzed and compared from the similaritiesthey exhibit. This leads to a detailed discussion of various approaches towardthe implementation of high performance algorithms. A single multi-faceted highperformance algorithm is then derived. Implementation using PLAPACK andresulting performance is reported.
