Because a workshop was hold in Xiamen, I had a chance to visit this city. Summary When I arrived in Xiamen for the first time, the cityscape of Xiamen left a deep impression on me. The city is very clean with flourishing plants and blue sky. That sea breeze[?????]n.微风 blows your face, which is very comfortable. This is also an inclusiveyoung and dynamic动力的, 动力学的, 动态的 city. Every year, many foreigners come here for business. There are high buildings and large mansions大厦 everywhere. I really love it. This is my first time I realized that Xiamen is a small island. And, the Xiamen Island definitely looks like a garden on the sea. The City People in Xiamen are very nice and hospitable[??????????]adj.好客的. You can find here smiling faces. If you can come there, the villagers will treat you with traditional adj.传统的, food. Bicycle Friendly City Xiamen, as an island in the sea, there are some impressive[?????????]adj.给人深刻印象的 characteristics----- it is a bicycle friendly city. As we know, most of the cities in China are lack [???] of the care for common residents[?????????]n.居民 in the city. But in Xiamen, we can find the convenient and considerate things for citizens... For example, In Xiamen, it is the first place I saw that has special bicycle lane. It is built within the pedestrian[???????????]n.步行者. Please see the picture below. The red road looking like a red carpet[???????]n.地毯 is specially designed for bicycles. The left side of the road is for walkers. More space is left for the cars. The original [??????????]adj.最初的, 原始的 bicycle lane is marked as vehicle road. I think it is an innovative [???????????]adj.创新的 and good design.
