Conclusion The method is simple, re-linearity, and can be used for 3-pin medicines quality control. MethodsUsing TLC to identify and HPLC to determine the content of berberine hydrochloride in Radix Berberidis. The HPLC system consisted of Vp-ODSC18 column (4.6 mm × 150 mm, 5 μm) , acetonitrile: 0.02 mol / L KH2PO4 (24:76) mixture as mobile phase, detection wavelength at 346 nm, flow rate of 1.0 ml / min, column temperature: 30 ℃. ResultsThe spots in the TLC were clear and distinguishable, the linear range of berberine hydrochloride was from 2.04 to 20.4 μg / ml.The average recovery was 99.30%, RSD was 0.53%.
