Methods CCl4 model of acute liver injury, serum alanine aminotransferase (ALT), aspartate aminotransferase (AST) activity, liver tissue MDA, and to observe the pathological changes in liver tissue. Results of baicalin yuan to protect CCl4-induced liver injury, manifested as serum ALT, AST activity and liver MDA content decreased, while the liver lesions lighter than the model group. Conclusion Baicalein on CCl4-induced liver injury has a protective effect. MethodsThe experimental model of liver injury was induced by CCl4 in mice. The serum alanine aminotransferase (ALT), aspartate aminotransferase (AST) and liver malondialdehyde (MDA) were determined. The pathological examination of liver was performed. ResultsBaicalein significantly reduced serum ALT, AST activities and liver MDA content, and the liver lobule were ameliorated obviously. ConclusionBaicalein has a protective effect on acute hepatic injury induced by CCl4.
