Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease sTREM1 and Its Significance Determination
[Abstract] Objective To investigate the chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) in peripheral blood and induced sputum in patients with myeloid cells, soluble triggering receptor expressed on 1 (sTREM 1) the concentration and its relationship with the relationship between the severity of the disease. Methods In 12 patients with COPD with acute exacerbation (AECOPD) in patients before treatment, treatment for 2 weeks with stable peripheral blood and sputum in sTREM 1 concentration and white blood cell count (WBC), and 12 healthy human peripheral blood sTREM 1 concentration. Analysis of peripheral blood and sputum of COPD in sTREM 1 concentration and forced expiratory volume in 1 second, accounting for the percentage of predicted value (FEV1% predicted value) relationship. Results COPD before treatment group and treatment group 2 weeks in the sputum sTREM 1 concentrations were significantly higher than those with stable group (P amp;lt;0.05). Before treatment group, 2 weeks of treatment group and the group with stable sTREM 1 in peripheral blood compared with the control group there was no significant difference (Pamp;gt; 0.05). COPD sputum pre-treatment group in the sTREM 1 concentration and the corresponding values of FEV1% expected a negative correlation, the impact of FEV1% in descending order of concentration of sputum sTREM 1 and gender. Conclusion sTREM 1 in the concentration of sputum can reflect the extent of airway inflammation in COPD and as a reference indicator to determine the prognosis of lung function, peripheral blood sTREM 1 concentrations do not accurately reflect the extent of severe airway inflammation.
