[Abstract] [Objective] Kang oral cough determination of polysaccharides. [Method] modified phenol sulfuric acid method with glucose as reference to investigate linear, stability and recovery rate. By Glucose levels, reflecting the polysaccharide samples. [Results] glucose concentration in the 18.2 ~ 91.0mg ml-1 range is linear (R2 = 0.9952, average recovery was 99.94%, relative standard deviation RSD = 1.10%. [Conclusion] The use of modified phenol sulfuric acid method in three batches of oral cough Kang polysaccharide were 36.32,30.90,32.75 mg mL-1, method is simple, reproducible, and can be used as cough Kang Oral Solution quality control of polysaccharide.

Abstract: [Objective] To determine the content of total polysaccharide in Keerkang Oral Liquid. [Methods] Taking glucose as contrast, the determination was performed with the improved pheno1 sulfuric acid method.The content of polysaccharide was reflected with content of glucose. [Results ] The linear range for the detection of glucose was 18.2 ~ 91.0 mg mL-1 (R2 = 0.9952and the average recovery was 99.94%; the relative standard deviation was 1.10%. [Conclusion] This method was simple and accurate and it could be used for quality control of total polysaccharide in Keerkang Oral Liquid.
