Results The good linearity between concentrations and absorbances of gallic acid was found in the range of 2 ~ 10 mg / L, the average recovery was 99.63% and RSD was 1.08%, the contents of tannins in leaves, stems and roots of Abutilon indicum (L.) Sweet were 0.34%, 0.16% and 0.27% respectively.
