 PAGE \* MERGEFORMAT 10 Double interventional therapy of hepatocellular carcinoma [Abstract] Objective To study and investigate the hepatic artery and portal vein embolization for the treatment of primary arterial chemotherapy for advanced liver cancer patients. Methods 76 patients with advanced liver cancer were divided into A, B groups, A group of applications and the hepatic artery portal vein infusion chemotherapy and embolization intervention (TACE + SPVE) method of treatment of 35 patients, B group were treated with hepatic artery infusion chemotherapy and embolization (Transcatheter Arterial Chemoembolization, TACE) method of treatment of 41 patients. The results A, B groups are efficient were 85.7% and 63.4%, 6 months after treatment, 12 months, 18 months survival rate, A group was 91.4%, 82.8%, 68.6%, B group was 82.9%, 61.0%, 43.9%, two Groups of 12 months and 18 months, significant differences (P lt;0.05). Conclusion hepatic artery and portal vein interventional treatment of advanced liver cancer, better than the effect of hepatic artery intervention. There were 35 patients with chemotherapy and embolization of double interventional therapy through hepatic artery and portal vein in Group A and 41 patients with chemotherapy and embolization of interventional therapy through hepatic artery only in Group B. Results The effective rate was 85.7% and 63.4% in group A and group B respectively.The survival rate after therapy in six months, twelve months and eighteen months were 91.4%, 82.8% and 68.6% in group A respectively, and 82.9%, 61.0% and 43.9% in group B
