Methods: Rat bone marrow derived MSCs were isolated by adherent culture method. Flow cytometric analyses were used to identify cells which were transfected by recombinant adenovirus EGFP using lipofectamine2000. Results: Rat bone marrow derived MSCs were successfully isolated and efficiently express EGFP report gene by adenovirus vectors transfection. Conclusion: Rat bone marrow derived MSCs can be transfected by recombinant adenovirus EGFP, which may potentially be used as a target for tissue engineering and gene therapy.
