In our hospital from 2000 to 2008 admitted misdiagnosed as appendicitis or abscess of the ileocecal appendix cancer patients, 18 cases are reported below. 1 Clinical data The group of 18 patients, 13 males and 5 females; age 59 to 82 years, mean 68.7 years .9 patients were complicated with hypertension, diabetes, coronary heart disease, cerebral infarction and other diseases.
