Results Prunella TLC method is rapid, sensitive, negative non-interference; linarin in the range of 0.044 8 ~ 0.448 g was linear (r = 0.999 9, n = 5), the average recovery was 99.7% (n = 6), RSD is 1.2%. Conclusion The quality standards can be better used in effervescent granules Xiasangju quality control. Method Ursolic acid was identified by TLC; and the content of linarin in Xiasangju effervescent granules was determined by HPLC. The chromatographic conditions consisted of Diamonsil C18 column (250 mm 4.6 mm, 5 m) with the mobile phase of methanol water glacial acetic acid (50:48:2) at the flow rate of 1.0 mL min-1, column temperature at 30 , and the detection wavelength of 334 nm. Results The identification method for ursolic acid was established; The calibration curves of linarin showed a good linearity in the range of 0.044 8 ~ 0.448 g (r = 0.999 9, n = 6), the average recovery was 99.7% (n = 6), with RSD of 1.2%. Conclusion The quality standards established can be used for the quality control of the content of Xiasangju Effervescent Granules.
