Methods 67 elderly DM patients were divided into CSII and multiple subcutaneous insulin injection (MSII) groups randomly . CSII group had 34 cases which were given insulin pumps and MSII had 33 cases which were given MSII methods. The daily blood glucose profiles were observed after treatment for 2 w by CGMS. Results The therapeutic effect of blood controlling in CSII group was superiority to that in MSII group (P lt;0.05, P lt;0.01), and the incidence of hypoglycemia was lower than that in MSII group (P lt;0.01). Conclusion
