Abstract: Objective To optimize the extraction process of total flavonoids chrysanthemum. Analysis of single-factor method based on the yield of total flavonoids in response to the value, using response surface experimental design (RSD) for its extraction technology research. Results The optimum process parameters for the 56.6% ethanol concentration, extraction temperature 80 ℃, liquid-solid ratio of 19.6, extraction time 3.2 h, extracted one time, the process conditions under which the rate of total flavonoids was 4.64%. Conclusion The process conditions to provide reference data for industrial production. Response surface experimental design method can be carried out within the framework of continuous analysis, can only be better than the now widely used in analysis of discrete orthogonal experimental design conditions.

The Optimal Extracting Conditions for Chrysanthemum Indicum L. by Response Surface Design (RSD)
Abstract: ObjectiveTo examine the procedure for the chemical extraction of the flavonoids in Chrysanthemum indicum L. MethodsThe procedure for the extraction was performed with the recovery yield of flavonoids as the response. Response surface design (RSD) was applied to find the optimum parameters, which is based on onefactor experiment. ResultsIt was found that the procedure could achieve a good result when the sample was infiltrated with 19.6fold 56.6% ethanolwater solution and mixed around at 80 ℃ for 3.2 h. The recovery yield of flavonoids got to 4.64% once extraction . ConclusionThe procedure of the extraction can be helpful to the factoryscale production.
