Factors affecting the extraction of Astragalus
[Abstract] Objective To explore the astragalus extract the main areas of influence factors. Methods UV spectrophotometry Astragalus saponin, polysaccharide content, comparing different ethanol concentration and temperature on water extraction and ethanol extract of astragalus. Results Of the 60% ~ 80% ethanol is the alcohol concentration range of process optimization to mention the main areas examined; 60 ~ 100 ℃ temperature range is water extraction, alcohol extraction process optimization of the main areas examined. Conclusion The results for the different needs of the extraction process designed to provide a reference.

Effecting factors of extracting astragalus root

[Abstract] Objective To explore the main effecting factors of extracting astragalus root.Methods The different extractions of astragalus root under different concentrations of ethanol and temperatures were compared. The contents of total astragaloside IV and polysaccharide were detected by UV. Results 60% to 80 % of ethanol and 60 to 100 ℃ of temperature was the main effecting factors of extracting astragalus root.Conclusion The different extraction method should select the different range of ethanol concentration and temperature optimizing extraction process.
