Methods steam distillation of trigeminal bitter leaf volatile oil, gas chromatography - mass spectrometry (GC-MS) detected the peak area normalization method to calculate the relative content of each component. The results from the trigeminal bitter leaf volatile oil isolated 46 components were identified of which 16 components, accounting for 88.37% volatile oil components. Conclusion This method is reliable, reproducible, and can be used for trigeminal pain leaf volatile components analysis. MethodsThe essential oil was extracted by water distillation method and analyzed by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry. ResultsFourty-six constituents in the sample were separated, among which the chemical structure and relative content of sixteen constituents were identified, the sum of their contents was 88.37%. ConclusionThe method is reliable, stable and repeatable and can be used for the analysis of the volatile constitiuents of Evodia lepta leaves.
