 PAGE \* MERGEFORMAT 10 Health Education in the role of hospital infection prevention [Abstract] Objective To observe the preventive health education in the role of hospital infection. Methods in our hospital in August 2009 to 10 months 410 cases of hospitalized patients, 210 were randomly divided into two groups and the control group of 200 patients. The control group using conventional hospital treatment procedures, observation group were hospitalized on the basis of procedures to enhance health education, comparative analysis of the clinical effect of the two groups. Results of nosocomial infection in the observation group was 6.7%, 15.0% in the control group, the two groups, the difference was statistically significant (P lt;0.05); two groups were gastrointestinal tract, urinary tract and skin and soft tissue infections were statistically significant difference in the incidence (P lt;0.05). The patients on the medical and nursing staff satisfaction and trust 96.7% and 96.2%, were higher than 89.0% and 87.5% in group B, the difference was statistically significant (P lt;0.05). Conclusion of hospital infections in hospitalized patients with health education can reduce hospital infection rate and increase the trust of patients and medical staff satisfaction.
