[Method] Since 2001, patients with long bone fracture energy of 76 cases of trauma according to the size and type of fracture were divided into two groups, high-energy trauma caused by long bone fracture group, 36 cases of low-energy trauma caused by long bone fracture group 40. The selected cases, male 50 cases, female 26 cases. Aged 18 to 55 years, with an average 31.3 years of age. Of which 17 cases of femoral fractures, humerus fractures in 18 cases, 41 cases of fracture of tibia and fibula. Open fracture in 28 cases, 48 cases of closed fracture. High-energy trauma group for the bone at both ends of a relatively complete structure of the majority of cases with limited internal fixation with intramedullary nails, a few with long-handled plate to do a fixed bridge; for the combined bone at one end or both ends of a longitudinal case of burst fractures using screws plus plate fixation method of a fixed bridge. Low-energy trauma group were treated with interlocking intramedullary nails and compression plate fixation. Two groups after surgery the patient to be 4 to 10 weeks of external fixation, and then functional training under the guidance of a doctor. [Results] All patients were followed an average follow-up of 18 months. According to long bone fracture after postoperative joint function evaluation criteria will be divided into excellent, good, general Ⅲ level, the results of high-energy trauma group after surgery was 83.33% excellent and good rate, low-energy trauma group after the operation rate of 95.00% fine.
