Methods: 41 patients with different types of large vessels hemorrhage, were used in different parts of the external control method, internal control method and control method for internal and external bleeding. Results: 1 case complicated by renal failure patients with gunshot wounds died; one cases of carotid artery injury in the first 19 days were re-bleeding death; two cases of popliteal artery injury in patients with amputation; the remaining 37 patients with satisfactory result. Conclusion: The use of these methods to handle large blood vessels flexible and able to receive good clinical effects. [Abstract] AIM: To increase the remedy rate and decrease the disability rate after great vessels injury. METHODS: Different types of great vessels hemorrhage in 41 patients were treated with exterior, interior, exterior and interior control methods in different positions, espectively. RESULTS : 1 gunshot wound patient died from renal failure. 1 commom carotid artery injury patient died from rebleeding after 19 days. Two patients whose popliteal arteries were injuried were amputated. And other 37 patients obtained satisfied treatment effects.CONCLUSION: Smartly adoptting these methods to treat the great vessels hemorrhage might obtain favourable clinical effects.
