Of 132 patients with severe traumatic brain injury were randomly divided into group and control group to compare, and forward-looking analysis of therapeutic effect. Results of the treatment group 66 cases, the survival rate of 77.3%, good recovery rate of 54.5% (36/66), mortality rate 18.2% (12/66). Efficacy significantly superior to the control group, no complications were found. Conclusion Mild hypothermia can significantly reduce the mortality rate in patients with severe traumatic brain injury and improve neurological function in patients with traumatic brain injury prognosis, and is safe, a significant reduction in mortality and the incidence of epilepsy and so on. All patients were diagnosed by CT, and the exclusion of other organ damage caused by severe shock, hypoxia, or asphyxia; exclude pregnant women and children under the age of 14 and 70 years of age or older.
