PAGE \* MERGEFORMAT 10 Minimally invasive retrograde intramedullary nailing of distal femoral fractures Keywords:: Retrograde interlocking intramedullary nail 【Abstract】 Objective To investigate the patellar small incision or a small incision closed reduction with retrograde intramedullary nailing of distal femoral fractures of the clinical effects. The group of 27 cases, closed reduction in 18 cases, 9 cases of small incision reset. Patellar small incision used in all retrograde intramedullary nail fixation, postoperative CPM exercise, both early weight-bearing. Results Follow-up 12 to 26 months on average after 6 weeks there has been noticeable callus formation, with an average healing time of 12 weeks (8 ~ 24 weeks). No malunion and infection happens, the knee function recovered well. Conclusion The method is a trauma, fixed and reliable, high rate of fracture healing, and good functional recovery of the knee, the treatment of distal femoral fractures and effective treatment.
