Methods January 2005 -2009 admitted to our department in December after abdominal surgery patients split full thickness incision in 10 cases, including the hospital, 7 cases transferred to other hospital in 3 cases, wound assessment methods used to determine and select the relevant moist healing dressings, control of local and systemic infections, and nutritional support and other treatment methods. Results of this group of cases, only one case of death due to external causes of disease The remaining 9 patients no case of re-acquired wound healing secondary suture. Conclusions correct wound assessment, wound early intervention, appropriate choice of wound dressings, effective infection control and nutritional support is to promote full-thickness abdominal incision wound dehiscence effective measures to enhance the capacity of wound healing, reduce patient suffering. [Keywords:] wound dehiscence; moist therapy [Abstract] Objective To evaluate the efficacy of wet dressing in management of the full layer dehiscence of abdominal wound in accelerating earlier healing.Methods During the period from Jan 2005 to Dec 2009,10 patients with abdominal wound dehiscence were managed through assessment of the wound , control of the infection, nutrient support and wet dressing.Results One patient died due to his primary disease and 9 patients were ultimately cured without secondary suture.Conclusion Accurate assessment and early intervention of the wound, effective control of the infection and nutrient supplement and selection of the proper wound dressing are all the important and effective measurements for improving and accelerating the wound healing and lessening their symptoms.
