[Method] 68 patients were based on the conventional diet, taking berberine and observed before and after treatment blood lipids, blood pressure, waist circumference and insulin sensitivity index changes. [Results] After treatment lipids, blood pressure, waist circumference and insulin sensitivity were significantly improved (P amp;lt;0.01). [Conclusion] berberine treatment of metabolic syndrome has a good effect.
