Methods: From September 2004 to 2007 Aug. 57 patients in PLIF surgery for degenerative lumbar disease with lumbar scoliosis imaging data of patients were observed before and after surgery lumbar flexion (LL), fusion segments above the lumbar flexion (LL above fusion), integration within the lumbar segment of flexion (LL within fusion), fusion segments under the lumbar flexion (LL below fusion), sacral angle forward (SS) changes in parameters such as the correlation between various parameters . Results: All cases were followed up after 40 months (24 to 60 months), LL, LL within fusion, LL below fusion, SS before and after surgery there were significant differences (P lt;0.01), LL above fusion surgery no significant difference between before and after (Pgt; 0.05), preoperative LL above fusion, LL within fusion, SS and after LL above fusion, LL within fusion, SS and LL patients was significantly correlated (P lt;0.001). During follow-up lumbar sagittal correction of the degree sequence and no loss of intervertebral height. Conclusion: PLIF for degenerative lumbar scoliosis before and after surgery of lumbar sagittal parameters significant correlation between the preoperative measurements of relevant parameters of lumbar spine surgery will be beneficial curvature in the lumbar sagittal reconstruction.
