Methods The single factor experiments and orthogonal test to determine the optimal conditions for extracting total polysaccharides, using spectrophotometric determination of total polysaccharide content. Results Fuling Tang total polysaccharides Atractylodes extract the best conditions are: solid-liquid ratio of 1:30, extraction time 2.0 h, extraction times of 3 times, the temperature 90 ℃ . Under these conditions the measured Poria Atractylodes Decoction of total polysaccharide content to 48.25 mg / g. Conclusion The method is simple, rapid, accurate and applicable to the compound in the determination of the total polysaccharide. Polysaccharides were measured by spectrophotometry. Results Experiment reveals that optimal condition for extraction was as follows: temperature: 90 ℃ ; duration: 2 hours; times: 3 times; ratio: 1:30 (w / v). The volume of polysaccharides in Atractylodes Poria soup is 48.25 mg / g. Conclusion The method is simple, rapid and accurate for determination of polysaccharide from the compound.
