Methods: A retrospective analysis of 72 cases treated with MED lumbar disc herniation in patients with clinical data and therapeutic effect. Results: 72 patients were followed up for 2 ~ 24 months, an average of 12.8 months. Based on Machnab criteria: excellent in 41 cases, good in 23 cases, fair in 5 cases and poor in 3 cases, the fine rate was 88.9%, does not appear intervertebral space infection and vertebral slippage. Conclusion: MED treatment of injuries of small, painful light, quick recovery, in line with disc surgery and minimally invasive trend. Methods: 72 cases of lumbar disc herniation treated by microendoscopic discectomy were analyzed retrospectively.Results: Follow-up period was 2 to 24 months after operation, and the average follow-up time was 12.8 months.The results, based on Macnab criteria, were excellent in 41 patients, good in 23 patients, fair in 5 patients and poor in 3 patients and the satisfactory rate was 88.9%. There was no infection of intervertebral space and olisthe of vertebral body. Conclusion: Microendoscopic discectomy is an effective method to treat lumbar disc herniation, following a minimally invasive operation tendency, has the characteristics of minimal invasion and light pain, rapid recovery .
