Rabbit elbow ulnar collateral ligament injury in acute post-surgical and non surgical treatment of biomechanical displacement and strain rate in comparison

PAGE \* MERGEFORMAT 16 Rabbit elbow ulnar collateral ligament injury in acute post-surgical and non surgical treatment of biomechanical displacement and strain rate in comparison Study: Young Luther, Xian-Long Zhang, Wang Jin, I Pyeongchang, high raw [Abstract] [Objective] To compare the elbow ulnar collateral ligament of rabbits with acute surgical repair after injury and non-surgical treatment differences. [Method] 81 New Zealand rabbits were randomly divided into 3 groups, 27 exposed the right ulnar collateral ligament after, but not cut, as the normal control group (A), 27 only to cut immediately after ulnar collateral ligament elbow ligament suture, known as the ligament suture group (B), 27 只 cut off after the non-closure of the ulnar collateral ligament, saying the ligament suture group (C). 3,6,12 weeks after surgery, respectively, drawn in three stages, for biomechanical testing. [results] 12 weeks after surgery, ligament rupture of the suture group and the non-closure of the displacement group, the difference statistically significant [B (6. 06 + -0. 44) mm, C (7. 72 + -0. 44) mm, P lt;0. 05], displacement of the suture group close to the normal group, no significant difference [A (5. 87 + -0. 46) mm, Pgt; 0. 05], ligament strain rate of closure group compared with the non-closure group, the difference was statistically significant \ [B (1. 25 + -0. 16) , C (1. 60 + -0. 07), P lt;0. 05 \], also similar to the normal group \ [A (1. 19 + -0. 13), Pgt; 0. 05 \]. [Conclusion ] elbow ulnar collateral ligament surgery after acute injury is better than non-surgical treatment. [Keywords:] elbow, ulnar collateral ligament, surgical repair, non-surgical repair, biomechanics Abstract: [Objective] To compare the effect of surgical operation and non operation therapeutical effect of acute damnification of the ulnar collateral ligaments of elbow joint of the rabbits. [Method] Eighty one New Zealand rabbits were randomly divided into 3 groups.Twenty sev
