Red Hail fruit polysaccharides on immune suppression of immune function

PAGE \* MERGEFORMAT 12 Red Hail fruit polysaccharides on immune suppression of immune function [Abstract] Objective To observe the red hail fruit polysaccharides on immune function in immunosuppressed mice. Methods using cyclophosphamide (CY) modeling method produce immune suppression model and observe the red hail fruit polysaccharides on immunity organ weight index , carbon clearance ability, delayed type hypersensitivity (DTH), hemolysin (IgM) content. Results hail red fruit polysaccharides 400,200 mg · kg-1 dose could significantly increase the immune organ index, macrophages phagocytosis and delayed type hypersensitivity in mice to promote the formation of hemolysin. Conclusion hail red fruit polysaccharides significantly increased immune suppression immune function. [Keywords:] red hail fruit; polysaccharide; immune function; cyclophosphamide Abstract: ObjectiveTo observe the effects of polysaccharide from the fruit of Thladiantha dubia Bunge on the immune functions of immunosuppressed mice. MethodsImmunosuppressed mouse model was established by intraperitoneal injection with cyclophosphamide followed by daily intragastric administration of polysaccharide from the fruit of Thladiantha dubia Bunge. After the treatment, the mice were examined for immune organ weight index, carbon particle clearance capability of macrophage, delayed type hypersensitivity, serum IgM level following exposure to sheep erythrocytes.ResultsTreatment of the immunosuppressed mice with polysaccharide from the fruit of Thladiantha dubia Bunge at the daily dose of 400 and 200 mg · kg-1 significantly increased the weight of the immune organs, carbon particle clearance capability of macrophage, delayed type hypersensitivity, serum IgM level against erythrocytes. ConclusionThe polysaccharide from the fruit of Thladiantha dubia Bunge can enhance the immune functions of immunosuppressed mice induced by cyclophosphamide.
