Methods 65 abdominal surgery ASA Ⅱ ~ Ⅲ grade 60 patients were randomly divided into two groups of 30 cases. Remifentanil (R) group induced by the use of remifentanil 1μ g/kg, the maintenance of anesthesia with continuous infusion of remifentanil 0.1 ~ 0.2u g.kg-1min-1; fentanyl group (F group) induced using fentanyl 2μ g/kg, the maintenance of anesthesia with continuous infusion of fentanyl 0.05 ~ .1 mg. Observed two patients before anesthesia, induction, after intubation, surgical 1h, the extubation time of MAP, HR, and postoperative recovery and to record bare-time, extubation time, question and answer to the point of time. Results Compared with fentanyl, remifentanil and fast onset of action, clear fast, breathing and consciousness recovery than fentanyl. Conclusion remifentanil in elderly patients is feasible and safe, and an advantage over fentanyl. Anesthesia in elderly patients select the appropriate methods and the appropriate anesthesia narcotic drugs are stable and secure premise.
