Methods D-galactose-induced subacute aging mice model, we determined mouse liver, brain tissue superoxide dismutase (SOD), glutathione peroxidase (GSH-PX) activity, malondialdehyde ( MDA) content of brain tissue monoamine oxidase (MAO) activity, and the thymus index and spleen index. Results Schisandra Ningshen oral liquid can significantly reduce the D-galactose aging mouse liver and brain tissues of high MDA content, upward revision of its low antioxidant enzymes SOD, GSH-PX activity and reduce MAO activity in brain tissue improve the thymus, spleen index. Conclusion Schisandra Oral Ning God can remove oxygen free radicals by enhancing the body’s ability to enhance the activities of antioxidant enzymes play a role in anti-aging. MethodsSubacute aging model in mice was established by D-galactose (D-gal) and activities of SOD and GSH-PX, content of MDA in brain and liver tissues, activity of MAO in brain tissue and immune indexes were determined. ResultsWuweizi Ningshen Oral Liquid markedly increased the activities of SOD and GSH-PX, significantly decreased the content of MDA in brain and liver tissues. MAO activities in brain tissue was also decreased. It also elevated the spleen and thymus indexes. ConclusionWuweizi Ningshen Oral Liquid might have anti-aging effect, which is implemented by eliminating oxyen free radicals, increasing activities of antioxidases. Keyword
