7A Unit 7 Signs around us (Period II) 课前分析 本课时是牛津英语 7A Unit 7 Signs around us 的内容，内容虽然来自七年级，但是我将它当作六年级的 Rules round us 的一节拓展课，在前几个课时中学生已经认识了一些标志，并掌握了这些标志的意思的表达，在本课时主要是复习这些标志的意思，掌握它们的分类，并了解它们存在的地点。这是十分贴近学生生活的内容，抓住这疑点设计一系列的任务活动容易激发学生的学习兴趣，让学生在学习英语的同时，用英语解决实际生活中的问题。 教学目标  To teach Wh- questions to find out specific information e.g. What kind of sign is this? To teach Wh- questions to find out place e.g. Where can we find it?  To develop students’ abilities of listening, speaking, reading and writing Listening. To encourage students to cooperate in pairs and groups  教学过程 Ⅰ. Warming-up: Enjoy a poem Ⅱ. Pre-task preparation 1. Review the kinds of signs students learned before. 2. Match the kinds with the signs Ⅲ. While-task procedure 1. Look at the signs, listen and write the correct number in each box. (Exercise paper ) 2. Listen again and check the answers by themselves and ask one student to put the signs on the blackboard in order. 3. Show students the dialogues to elicit: A: What does this sign mean? B: It means:____________. A: Where can we find it? B: In a park. / In the countryside. / On a road. / At school. 4. Students discuss different signs in pairs and act out the dialogue. 5. Show students another dialogue to elicit: A: What does this sign mean? B: It means:____________. A: What kind of sign is this? B: It’s a / an _________ sign. A: Where can we find it?
