Methods 38 patients with sepsis were randomly divided into treatment group (Western conventional therapy Qingwen Baidu Decoction) 18 cases and the control group (conventional Western medicine therapy) in 20 cases, treatment 7 d, respectively, TCM symptom scores before and after treatment, APACHE Ⅱ score, and peripheral blood TNF-@, IL-1, IL-6 and IL-10 levels. Results of Group 2 was no significant difference in efficacy (Pgt; 0.05), but control rate in treatment group than the control group (P lt;0.05), clinical symptoms after treatment, group 2 points and scores of APACHE Ⅱ score was significantly decreased (P lt;0.05), the treatment group than the control group (P lt;0.05), after treatment 2 groups of patients with TNF-@, IL-1, IL-6 and IL-10 levels were lower (P lt;0.05, P lt;0.01), the treatment group than the control group (P lt;0.05). Conclusion Qingwen Baidu Decoction can improve the clinical efficacy in patients with sepsis, adjustable TNF-@, IL-6, IL-1 and IL-10 level, inhibition of excessive inflammatory response.
