Main idea of the passage As an important part of our lives, advertisement provides information and uses persuasive language and exciting images to encourage people to buy a product or service or believe in an idea. There are two main types of advertisements---commercial advertisements, paid for to promote a product or service and public service advertisements, free to serve the public. Main idea of 2nd paragraph Advertisements, including commercial advertisements and PSAs, provides information and uses persuasive language and exciting images to encourage people to buy a product or service or believe in an idea. Main idea of 3rd paragraph An advertisement may not tell you the complete truth. Try not to fall for the thick. Main idea of 4th paragraph PSAs are meant to teach us and help us lead better lives.
