Methods CIinicaI data were retrospectiveIy used with the method of cost-effectiveness anaIysis to e vaIuate the DesIoratadine treatment and Epinastine treatment of chronic urticaria. Results DesIoratadine treatment and Epinastine treatment of chronic urticaria had an efficiency of 77.6% and 83.0% respectiveIy with the cost of 32.2 yuan and 142.8 yuan. The cost-effectiveness ratio was 0.41 and 1.72 respectiveIy. When DesIoratadine treatment was cho sen, its per unit of effectiveness cost a Iower 20.6 yuan than that of Epinastine treatment.
