AtopicofstabilityfortheRK-Butcheralgorithm isdiscussedindetail.Errorgraphsfor discreteandexactsolutions arepresented inagraphical formtoshowthee?ciencyof theRK-Butcheralgorithm.TheresultsobtainedshowthatRK-Butcheralgorithmismore usefulforsolvinglinearandnonlinearsti?problemsandthesolutioncanbeobtainedfor anylengthoftime. Di?erential equations are oneoftheimportant andwidely usedtechniques inmathematical modeling. However, notmanydi?erentialequationshaveananalyticsolutionandevenifthereisone,usually itisextremely di?culttoobtain anditisnotvery practical. Thus,numerical methods aretrulyacrucialpartofsolvingdi?erentialequationswhichcannotbeneglected.Since thelate18thcentury,numericalmethodsforsolvingdi?erentialequationshavebeende- velopedcontinuouslybymanymathematicians. Lateroninthe20thcentury,thissubject madegreatimprovementsinthecontextofmoderncomputers.
