By reducing the equation with the Schro¨dertransformation toanauxiliary equation, theauthor discusses notonlythattheconstant λ at resonance, that is, at a root of the unity, but also those λ near resonance under the Brjuno condition. 1.Introduction Tra?c ?ow models have found much attention 1–13 in the last few years. They mostly fallintotwotypes:oneis“macroscopic”whichwasintroducedbyAwandRascle14 ,and Zhang 13 , we also refer the reader to 2–5, 9, 12 , and the other is called “microscopic” whichhasbeendiscussedin8,10,11,15 .Inparticular,Illneretal.4,7 investigatedkinetic modelswhichcanbeseenasabridgebetweenmacroscopicandmicroscopicmodels.
