However, being the theoretical dual to the Laplace transform, theSumudu transform rivals itinproblem solving. Having scale and unit- preserving properties, the Sumudu transform may be used to solve problems without resorting toanew frequency domain. Here,weuseittosolveanintegral production- depreciationproblem. 1.Introduction In[6],anewintegral transform, calledtheSumudutransform de?nedforfunctions of exponentialorder,isproclaimed.WeconsiderfunctionsinthesetA,de?nedby A= f(t)|?M,τ1,and/orτ20, (1.1) suchthat f(t) Me|t|/τj,ift∈(?1)j×[0,∞) .
