Ann ex in I bindin g sites on hum an os teoar thritic (OA) FLS wer e detec ted by liga nd bin din g flow cytom etry . PLA2 activity was measured Annaleise V. Sampey, Paul Hutchinson and Eric F. Morand CA using 3 H-arachidonic acid release, PGE2 release and COX activity by ELISA, and COX2 con tent by flow cytometry . Ann ex in I bin din g sites wer e pres ent on hum an OA FLS. An nex in I peptide ac 2 –26 e x erted a sign ific an t con ce ntration -depende nt inhibitio n of FLS con stitutive PLA2 activity , which was reve rs ed by IL- Monash Centre for Inflammatory Diseases, Monash University Department of Medicine, Monash Medical Centre, Clayton, Melbourne, Australia 1b. In co ntra st, DEX inhibited IL-1 -induced PLA2 b activity but not con stitutive activity . DEX but not an nex in I peptide inhibited IL-1b-induce d PGE2 relea se.
