The Antarctic Multiband Infrared Camera (AMICA) is a double channel camera operating in the 2–28μm infrared domain (KLMNQbands)thatwillallowtocharacterizeandexploittheexceptionaladvantagesforAstronomy,expectedfromDomeC inAntarctica.Thedevelopmentofthecameracontrolsystemisatits?nalstage.Aftertheinvestigationofappropriatesolutions againstthecriticalenvironment,areliableinstrumentationhasbeendeveloped.Itiscurrentlybeingintegratedandtestedtoensure thecorrectexecutionofautomaticoperations.OnceitwillbemountedontheInternationalRoboticAntarcticInfraredTelescope (IRAIT),AMICAanditsequipmentwillcontributetotheaccomplishmentofafullyautonomousobservatory. 1.Introduction the mirrors alignment, and the integration of the camera system will be accomplished starting from the 2009-10 summer.
