To study the response to Selective Laser Trabeculoplasty (SLT) according to baseline medical treatment, angle pigmentation,age,diagnosis(open-angleglaucomaorocularhypertension),andbaselineintraocularpressure(IOP).Methods. 74eyesof74patientswereenrolledinthisstudy.Baselinecharacteristicswererecordedforeachpatient.IOPinthetreatedand felloweyeswasmeasuredatbaseline,and1month,6months,and12monthsfollowingSLT.IOPchangesinthedi?erentgroups werecomparedusingtwo-wayANOVAandPearson’scorrelation.Results.Themeanageofourcohortwas71±10years.Themean baselineIOPwas21.5±5mmHg,andthemeanchangeinIOPfrombaselineinthetreatedeyeatoneyearwas?4.67±3.40mmHg. HigherbaselineIOPwashighlycorrelatedwithgreaterabsoluteIOPdecrease.Prostaglandinanalogueuseatbaselinewasshown tobeassociatedwithastatisticallydecreasedIOP-loweringresponsefollowingSLTwhencorrectedforbaselineIOP.Nosigni?cant di?erencesinIOPresponsewerefoundwhencomparinggroupsstrati?edforage,anglepigmentation,phakicstatus,gender,or diagnosis.Discussion.Theresultsofthisstudycon?rmthe?ndingthathigherbaselineIOPisapredictorofgreaterIOPresponse followingSLT,andthatpretreatmentwithprostaglandinanaloguetherapyisassociatedwithadecreasedIOP-loweringresponse followingSLT.Thestudyislimitedbythesmallnumberofeyeswithdataavailableforcompletecaseanalysi
