Purpose.Toreportonecaseofcornealantibioticdepositionaftercipro?oxacinadministrationinLaserAssistedSubepithelial Keratomileusis(LASEK).Methods.Onecaseofpost-LASEKtreatmentresultedincornealprecipitatesandpoorwoundhealing. Debriswasanalyzedwithdark?eldmicroscopyandplacedonablood-agarplateseededwithasusceptiblestainofStaphylococcus aureus(ATCC29213).Results.Thealterationsresolvedwithdiscontinuationofcipro?oxacintreatment,althoughsomeresidual depositspersistedsubepitheliallyfor6months.Analysisofprecipitatesrevealedpolydispersecrystallineneedlesof183μmaverage length(SD=54μm)andtheexcisedprecipitatedemonstratedazoneofinhibition.Conclusions.Fluoroquinoloneantibioticdrops havebeenusedextensivelyinpostsurgicaltreatmentofrefractivesurgery.Cornealprecipitateshavebeenpreviouslyreported intheliterature,butuptonownothinghasbeendocumentedafterLASEK.Polypharmacyduringrefractivesurgerymayimpair epithelialisation,andclinicalmanagementshouldreducetoxicenvironmentandpromoteocularsurfacestabilitywhenperforming surfaceablations. 1.Introduction At the end, lido?lcon contact lenses (Actifresh 400 – Hydro
