Materials and Methods: Schoolchildren from an endemic community were screened for fascioliasis and treated with a singleadministrationoftriclabendazole(10mg/kg).Interviewstoassesstheoccurrenceofadverseeventswereconducted ontreatmentday,oneweeklater,andonemonthaftertreatment.Furtherparasitologicalscreeningswereperformedthree monthsaftertreatmentandagaintwomonthslater(followingafurthertreatment)inordertoevaluatetheefficacyofthe intervention. Results:Ninetyinfectedchildrenwereadministeredtriclabendazole.Adverseeventswereinfrequentandmild.Noserious adverseeventswerereported.Observedcurerateswere
