In order to implement ad hoc neutralitytests,aplausibledemographichistoryofpearlmilletdomesticationwasinferredthroughApproximateBayesian ComputationbyusingeightneutralSTSloci. Results:Domesticatedpearlmilletexhibited84%ofthenucleotidediversitylevelfoundinthewildpopulation.Nospecific polymorphismswerefoundeitherinthewildorinthedomesticpopulations.TheBayesianapproachandpreviousstudies suggestthatgeneflowbetweenwildrelativesanddomesticatedpearlmilletsisamainfa
