Methods:Asampleof268womenparticipated.Theseincluded113womenintheirthirdtrimesterofpregnancy, 97inthepostpartumperiodand58healthyfemaleuniversitystudents.GHQ-12andEPDSwerealsoadministered totheparticipants.Internalconsistencyreliability,assessedusingCronbach’sa,was0.74. Results:PSS-10significantlycorrelatedwithbothEPDSandGHQ12(r=0.58andr=0.48respectively),and significantlyincreasedwithhigherscoresonstressfullifeevents.PSS-10scoreswerehigheramonguniversity studentswhoalsorecordedhigherstressfullifeeventsscores. Conclusion:TheArabictranslatedversionofthePSS-10showedreasonablyadequatepsychometricproperties.
