To extract such structured i nfor mation , t his study tri es to buil d the model of watershed hierarchical partiti oni ng based on Delaunay tri angulation . The deter- mi nati on of watershed area is regarded as a spatial co mpetiti on process and t hrough the partiti oning si milar to Voronoi diagramto obtai n t he basi n polygon of each river branch withi n t he coverage of one branch sub- net work and its background the Del aunay triangul ati on is constructed and the skeleton is i dentified as t he watershed boundary .
